I also understand that this is not, nor was it ever indented to be, the end all be all of melee manuals. It is instead a start, a glimpse into what I, and several others, find as important melee concepts. Much of this information is based off of our experiences with the Thieves of Hearts. As your people, experiences, and training, are all different, not everything outlined here may work for you and that is OK. I do hope however, that you take the time to think about the options and ideas that are presented here and find the solutions that work best for your unit. If you do nothing else but take these ideas, refute them, and find a better solution for your unit, it has done it's job. For no article or paper, no matter how well written can replace the conscious thoughts and efforts of the individuals involved.
As you read through the articles I encourage you to write me back and challenge any of the assertions made here, as together we may find the weaknesses and repair them. Now is the time to poke wholes in each others tactics, for the more we challenge each other now, the less challenging we will find our foes in August.
