Day Board

There will be a 'day board' beginning at 11:30am and lasting through the afternoon.
We invite the cooks of The Midlands to once again share their culinary skills and test their
medieval recipes on the willing guinea pigs grateful populace!

Electricity for heating & refrigeration is extremely limited, so we encourage dishes that can be served at room temperature.
Extra points for medieval recipes, but modern treats are also most welcome!

Thank You!

Please provide a list of ingredients so that we may warn those with food allergies.

If you have questions, please contact Ellen (ellenofthescholars 'at' yahoo 'dot' com).

"Best Crest Contest" A&S contest

You're always easy to find in a crowd if you've got something distinctive on top of your head.
Choose your favorite materials to make yourself a crest to wear atop your helmet or hat and show off your creations!
Heraldic animals, wings and horns are common figures used during SCA period, but maybe you'd like to branch out to even more fantastical crests.

A fashion show for the populace will happen in the afternoon on the stage, and the contest winner will be chosen by "applause-o-meter" readings.
